CyberLink is showcasing playback and burning solutions for next-generation disc formats at IFA 2006, Germany.
Cooperating with leading companies in the Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD hardware field, CyberLink will showcase CyberLink BD Solution, featuring PowerDVD BD Edition, and PowerDVD HD DVD Edition.
According to IDC's projection, 35 million high-definition optical disk drives will be integrated into PCs in the next five years. "Consumers are anticipating for high-definition videos," said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. "We are very excited to cooperate with leading hardware companies to enable blue-laser DVD technologies on the PCs. The next digital video entertainment revolution is about to begin."
CyberLink BD Solution, featuring software for playback, authoring, burning, archiving and packet-writing using the Blu-ray Disc format, will be on display at the Hewlett Packard booth and Blu-ray Disc Association?s booth, Hall 26, booth 201.
