UK citizens can claim for any combination of 4 free energy saving light bulbs, a free PowerDown and a free eaga ShowerSmart.

Free Energy Saving Plug – The PowerDown
As part of the Government’s commitment to reduce the amount of energy we use, eaga, working with the Government and energy suppliers, has a free PowerDown available to selected homes which we believe are eligible.

These PowerDowns are free of charge so that the Government and energy suppliers can continue working towards their important energy saving targets.
PowerDown Plug

o The PowerDown is a unique product which automatically switches off devices, such as printers and scanners, linked to your desktop computer. So you only need to remember to switch off the computer.
o It also helps to protect equipment against voltage spikes and power surges.
o The PowerDown takes seconds to install – just plug it directly into a wall socket and plug in your computer and other devices into the PowerDown.
o The PowerDown us only suitable for desktop computers.

Free eaga ShowerSmart
* The eaga ShowerSmart is suitable for all non-electric showers and regulates the flow rate of a shower to 7.8 litres per minute – the equivalent of a powerful electric shower

* For mains-pressure showers (where hot water comes from a combi-boiler or similar), this saves both water and the associated energy with heating hot water.

* For a 2-person household, the eaga ShowerSmart will typically save more than 12,000 litres per year*, cut carbon emissions by 1 tonne* of CO2 over its lifetime and save about £20* on gas and £20* on water bills (where metered) per year.

* For the average family, this would equate to savings of about £30 off their gas bills and over £30 off their water bills (where metered) per year.

Energy Saving Light Bulb

The bulbs last up to 10 times longer than a traditional light bulb and could save you up to £28 per year in electricity costs (source: Energy Saving Trust) – that’s nearly £240 over their lifetime!
